Robertson, Munro was established in 1996, by Barry Munro and Andrea Robertson, both graduates of Osgoode Hall Law School in 1994. In 1996, the practice was established as a general service law firm in downtown Richmond Hill, with a mandate to serve clients effectively and efficiently in the areas of real estate, estates, family law, corporate law and general litigation. In 2006, after 10 years of success in York Region, Robertson, Munro opened it's Durham Region office in Uxbridge, Ontario. Both offices are completely wheelchair accessible.

Andrea Robertson grew up in Thornhill, Ontario. Andrea attend Holy Trinity School in Richmond Hill, and then went on to study at the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto. In 1994, Andrea graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in February 1996. Since 1996, Andrea's practice has covered real estate, family law, estates and corporate law.

Barry Munro grew up in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Barry attended St. Robert's High School and then went on to the University of Guelph where he studied Political Science. In 1987, Barry was involved in an accident which rendered him a quadriplegic. Undeterred by his injury, Barry went on to study law at Osgoode Hall and was called to the Bar of Ontario in February 1996. Barry's personal experiences with spinal cord injury, combined with his exceptional litigation skills, have given him a unique ability to handle all aspects of personal injury litigation and to guide the client through the emotional and physical issues as well as the financial issues. Barry is now working with Aylesworth LLP, one of the country's top personal injury litigation firms.
